They’ll be the first to admit, that didn’t go so well.

Oli and Ash started their journey to Sipp’d by experimenting with an all natural, fiery alcoholic ginger beer. These two school friends are making soda history from their little unit in Essex. Don’t let anyone tell you accountants are boring. It's a retro masterpiece, made the way it was meant to be. It could be the real lime zest, or even the touch of salt that comes through subtly at the end. Whatever it is, it's borderline addictive.Īs for the cream soda, you won't believe that the taste comes from vanilla pods alone, especially when the alternatives mostly use chemicals. Unsurprisingly, their twisted limeade was stupendously good. It's impossible to drink this without wanting more. 'We hand zest all of the limes, smash together loads of cardamom, add a little unrefined cane sugar for some sweetness, and finally finish it with a bit of Essex sea salt to keep the flavours in balance'. We met Oli and Ash at a market stall. We were about to walk past without a second thought but luckily we overheard these guys describing their drinks and we got completely sucked in. All natural ingredients put together by Sipp'd themselves. They quit their corporate jobs and now they're reinventing soda for good.
